Bryan Donohue, MD, is a cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University and completed his residency at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Donohue completed his fellowship in cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles and interventional cardiology at the Andreas Gruentzig Center of Emory University.

Dr. Donohue joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2012 and has been practicing at UPMC for twenty years. His clinical interests include heart disease, primary and secondary prevention of heart disease and women in heart disease, while his professional interests include the athletic heart. Dr. Donohue’s clinical research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to present and speak on his work both nationally and internationally.
